We have purchase Odoo for a manufacturing business and want to record all transactions from the start of date. Hence we have almost 4 years of back lock.

On various hit and try, it has been evaluated that we cann't post the back-dated receipts or transfers. Odoo will post the transaction on the current date at which we are recording the transactions.

Solution from Odoo Support: We have make the inventory adjustment. but this solutions is only applicables on receipts. We can not do inventory adjustment on transfers. We need to adjust it with journal entry.

Reference to the solution, Now i need to manage this valuation issue in Excel and do the adjustment of every transaction so we can get proper reporting  financials.

My question is what is the benefit of Odoo, if i have to keep track of inventory valuation in excel and do adjustement.
