My customer needs a different look for the quote and invoice. I would like to replace the original report with a new report I created, but every time I rename it to sale.report_saleorder, I see the default report.
Anyone know how to do this?

Hi Michal,
If you need to set your custom report as the default report when clicking the print button, you need to enable the boolean option shown in the left sidebar named 'Show in print menu'. This option allows your custom report to replace the existing report in the print menu, effectively making it the default choice.
By enabling this option, you can ensure that your custom report is readily accessible and selected by default whenever users click the print button, fulfilling your requirement of replacing the existing report with your custom one.

Hi,
open default report with studio --> go to Report --> deactivate Add in the print menu.
this option will remove the default report from print menu, and you can rename your new report with any name
