Hello

Using V10

Once I give the country information in the customer information (this is needed in order to have proper order in print , for us French, Postal code  then Town), the country name is displayed on documents.

I can see that field  "company_adress" is called in the report.external_layout_header

How can I modify this field? (in first place I need to find it!)

Activate the developer mode, go to "Sales/Configuration/Localization/Countries", choose "France" and delete the last line in the address format (I assume you want to delete the country from the address if it is your home country).

Thanks for your help, I am using a V1O french version and under Sales/Settings (Ventes/configuration), I see no "Localisation" (developper mode activated).

PLease give me more informations to find where is this "localisation"

Sorry for my mistake, I have amended my answer, of course it is "Sales/Configuration/Localization/Countries". And sorry, I will not install the french language on my database just to show you the location. If you can't find it, install english yourself.

I did find the Localization in the V11 version, and changed as you suugested, it works...but I have a V10 in prodution,

Hurray, I found where it was... In Configuration/Contacts/Localization...

Problem is solved.

I have checked it for a Odoo 10.0 CE database.

For Odoo 11.0 CE you'll find it at "Contacts/Configuration/Localization/Countries".

Don't know exactly what you mean, but the addresses on reports are normally displayed through widget contact that builds the address from the fields given to him. It's in the reports template. Activate your developer mode and at least get the module name and than go and look for it in odoo/addons/. The templates are normally stored in views folder.
