Installation of the MRP application fails with the following message (openerp 7, windows x64). Other modules such as timesheets, warehouse, employee management) complete successfully without any hipccups.

This could happen if you have modified or deleted some of the data installed by other modules. In this case it looks like the resource module is missing the working time entry "45 Hours/Week" (resource.timesheet_group1).

This is a common issue on demo databases that have been altered, and you usually solve it by forcing an update of the module(s) who have missing data (or forcing an update of the base module).

Steps to try:

Cancel the installation for the MRP module
Manually force an update of the resource module (or the base module, as it will automatically update all modules)
Try to reinstall MRP

Additional info on step 2 - for some reason 'demo' was set to False for the Resource module and for this the upgrade on the module wouldn't import the demo data which contrains timesheet_group1. I updated the 'demo' field to True by SQL before upgrading the module, which did the trick.

Find the module in "installed modules" and click on "update". Same way to cancel installation for mrp.
