Hi,

In Odoo default Purchase Order PDF, the product description shows like this:

[5] test quote (XS, B-03)

Here [5] is the default_code (internal reference).

I want to remove this and show only:

test quote (XS, B-03)

👉 This is the default Odoo report (not custom).

How can I hide the default_code from the description in Purchase Order PDF?

Hi,

To remove the internal reference (`default_code`) from the product description, go to Odoo Studio, duplicate the Purchase Order report, and replace:


<td id="product" class="text-start">
    <span t-field="line.name"/>
</td>


with:


<td id="product" class="text-start">
    <span t-field="line.product_id.name"/>
</td>


This will display only the product name without the internal reference.

Use the Vendor Code for the Product instead.
