Can an equipment that we want to maintain be made up of several components? Some kind of BOM for equipment ?

Yes, you can create equipment that consists of several components using the Bill of Materials (BOM) functionality. The BOM feature allows you to define the structure and components of a product, including equipment

Thank you Savya, how do you do that ? I can't find the solution. The BOM feature is in Manufacturing app. not in the maintenance app. I understand you can create a BOM for a product manufactured but not for an equipment which needs to be maintained .
