Odoo Integration to SolidWorks and CAM

Hello,

We are using Odoo v16. We have a CNC machine and we want to automate a workflow Odoo → SolidWorks → CAM with as little human intervention as possible.

We’d like to extract order information from Odoo (dimensions, attributes/variants, quantities) and push it into SolidWorks to drive parametric assemblies. Then we want to send those parameters to our CNC programming software (CAMPlus) to adjust profile lengths and machining positions.

Do you know of any Odoo module that could help with this? If not, what approach would you recommend?

I’m not aware of a ready-made Odoo module that fully automates this workflow.
Omnia Solutions offers a PLM module with CAD integration for Odoo, which could help manage your product data and parameters.
It might be worth checking whether it supports the features you need (parametric assemblies, automated export to CAM, etc.).

OdooPLM fully integrates SolidWorks and Odoo . It 's a real PLM system based on Odoo .
It can recover part numbers based on SolidWorks properties , BOM, and even SolidWorks documents. It also automatically converts SolidWorks files into 3D web models during check-in process so you can see it on Odoo . On solidworks, it's also able to call vbs solidworks function in order to fully automate custom processes
