in fact I think I will rather define the operations to be performed as service products (ex : I have to paint 100 products) and the service product painting will be associated with a BOM and a Routing

I will try that to see how I can configure it in Odoo

My idea doesn't work because Odoo creates an MO for each product.

In fact my need is to create MO without à BOM but just operations.

Its almost a "project" modelization

In fact this is product related .. and product variant I think.

- You have one product without color and variant (one per color)

Your manufacture order will transform product without color to product with color and will consume painting (if you want to manage painting quantity

You receive product without color, manufacture (painting), and then deliver colored product.

Is it clear like this ?
