In Odoo 19.2, the Payroll structure has been updated and manual creation of work entries is no longer the standard approach. Work entries are now automatically generated based on modules like Attendances, Planning, or Time Off.

For overtime (OT) tracking, the recommended approach is to:

• Use Attendances to capture actual working hours
• Define working schedules in Contracts
• Let Odoo compute extra hours as overtime based on the difference

If you still need manual control over OT, it typically requires a small customization or an alternative flow using timesheets.
