The technology at the heart of CluePoints — the SMART engine — was originally developed during his time at IDDI, laying the foundation for the company’s success. After more than a decade in leadership — first as CEO, then CPTO — François supported the company through its acquisition by EQT in 2024. He now serves as Strategic Advisor while channeling his experience into supporting early-stage ventures as an investor and business angel.

A hands-on business angel with a strong passion for innovation, Yves Colinet has invested in 15+ startups, including several student-led SIBAs. He actively supports founders in scaling their business within large corporates, notably in the fields of data, AI, LLMs, mobility, and circular economy. As a board member, mentor, or advisor, he brings operational engagement to SaaS and cloud-native startups with a focus on data monetization and generative AI.

A member of SmartVentures and BAC 9 & 11 (BeAngels network), Yves is deeply involved in the European early-stage tech ecosystem. He currently supports Linkbycar, Jobloom, and Novable in business development initiatives.

Erik is also an active angel investor both independent and with BeAngels’ NXT II club. Outside of work, he’s passionate about endurance sports like trail running.

He has a strong track record of growing market share, having expanded Cinionic’s reach from 7% to 65%.

As a business executive and investor, he is passionate about scaling businesses internationally, especially in technology-driven sectors within entertainment. I am also creating a family office, Invest Lions, focused on taking stakes or building portfolios around technology companies in the entertainment space.
