Budget process can be very different from one company to another.
Most SMEs manage their budget with Excel because it is simple and flexible.

The drawback is that it takes time to add the actual figures and the risk of errors is high - especially when you update/refresh yours files.
With Odoo Spreadsheet you get the flexibility of an "Excel like" tool plus the ability to fetch actual data from Odoo easily.
During this talk I will introduce the main concepts to know about Odoo Spreadsheet
Then I will show an example of the budget process :

* How to create files : Budget files to fill in by the head of HR, the head of Operations, etc... Each budget responsible must be able to provides figures independently and with the help of past actuals.

* How to consolidate data : Once this first step done, all figures from different departments, or different projects...must be aggregated correctly.

* How to present the final reports : Finally, the management P&L Actual Vs Budget must be created. It will be use on a monthly basis to monitor the company budget.
