Printing a cash receipt at the POS and delivering it to the customer is a basic need!
Millions of shops do that; it seems impossible with OpenErp when you use (or try to use) one of the mostly used printer in the world, dedicated to cash receipts like an EPSON dot matrix printer, that you connect to a serial interface.
Such printers cannot print pdf files, nor any image. They just print texts; they do not need any driver.
The question has been already raised in this forum under the title

; so far without a definitive answer, at least for those users who have subscribed to the online solution from OpenErp.com; because they are not entitled , nor empowered to make modifications to any module.
Is it impossible for the developper team to make it possible to print a "POS receipt" on a dot matrix printer? and to add this possibility on the so called "trunk"?
