Dear Support,
On multiple occasions I have successfully used the mechanism to import data to Odoo from an excel table. Today I tried to modify the data of a group of employees in the Employees module from an Excel table and although it does not show any error when I click on Test Import and during the import process, however it does not update the data.
Please, I would appreciate any suggestions for finding the problem I have with the data update.
Iam working with Odoo 11

Hi,
If you are trying to update fields for the existing employees you need to take the external id or id of that employees then you can just import updated values along with external id ,when you use external id the fields will be updated for that particular employee record.

Make sure you are matching both fields (Excel-odoo) on loading excel file? It's happen if you select wrong field type like column data in excel file is numeric and you are selecting string column in loading time
