I get a lot of mails from my OpenERP, some of them have no interest for me. How to get rid of them?

It's probably that someone added you as a follower to a group or a document. To stop following things that you are not interested in, click on the link that appears in every mails: "Access this document directly in OpenERP"
On the bottom right of the page, you should see a blue button marked "Following", click on it to stop following the document.
Please note this will also prevent you from receiving notifications in your OpenERP inbox. So you should only use this if you are sure that the document has no interest for you. If want a better fine-tuning of OpenERP notifications, see here: https://accounts.openerp.com/forum/Help-1/question/69
Your question should be: how to unfollow documents. Because you can also stop receiving email for notifications you receive by setting the preference 'Receive feeds by email' accordingly.
That depends, I was thinking as someone that has interest for some mails, but not all, I changed the question to be more accurate.
Then it is not only mails. It also impacts notifications in your OpenERP Inbox. This could be clarified in the question and answer to provide a cool and clean explanation !

Knowing that, here are some simple rules to control your notifications :
- follow only document that really interest you, and choose the subtypes that you want to be notified about. Remember that when going on a document, the whole communication history is always displayed.
- use the automatic Lead/Opportunity subscription through Salesteams; same for Task and Issues from Projects. If you are a project manager, you probably want to know about new tasks or tasks blocked, without wanting to read every discussion on every task.
- unfollow documents that no longer interests you, using the Unfollow button
- remember you can control emails you receive through your User Preferences
There is already a "how to control my notifications ?" question. For people that really want to know that, it's good, for people that only want to stop receiving too much mails and don't want to go too deep it's not. There is no purpose saying "The question should be...", the question is what it is.
