I am trying to perform a manual inventory adjustment and I am getting the following error:

Due to some stock movements made between your initial quantity update and now, the difference in quantity is no longer consistent.

You can:

Keep the counted quantity (the difference will be updated)

Keep the difference (the counted quantity will be updated to reflect the same difference as when it was counted)

Discard and resolve the conflict manually

And I am given 3 options:

1. keep the counted quantity

2. keep the difference

3. discard

Option one and two do not seem to do anything, and no error is triggered in the log. The last line that is displayed when running option 1:

"POST /web/dataset/call_kw/stock.inventory.conflict/onchange HTTP/1.0" 200 - 13 0.006 0.012

And here I can't move forward to make the change. From what I've investigated, this error may be due to:

Simultaneous inventory movements: While you were doing the count or adjustment, sales, purchases, transfers or other movements were recorded that will affect the quantity of the product.

Multiple users: Several users are working on the inventory and making adjustments or movements on the same product at the same time.

Integrations: If you have integrations with other systems (ecommerce, point of sale, etc.), these can generate inventory movements that are not immediately reflected in the manual adjustment interface.

And none of these options apply.

I am trying to adjust a product that has not been sold for years because there is no stock, but due to the unit of measurement used at the time of creation, it was incorrectly recorded in the database, and I want to bring this stock to 0 because the amount of the incorrectly created product on hand greatly affects the accounting.

What do you recommend doing for this scenario? Are there other reasons why this error can occur?
