Hi, we were using our own mail server for sending mass mailing, but after couple of days sending about 1000 mails daily our server was cut off and we were not able to send any more emails... Anyway our mail server did't work with mass mailing module.
For our offer outside odoo we use mailchimp, but i guess there is not any ingeration plugin available. So far only thing that could help is Mandrill: https://mandrill.com/
What sollution are you using for your Mass Mailing campaigns?

I'm using Mandrill. Easy setup if you have access to you dns records.
setup within 10 minutes up and running.
btw. I'm using the free option for 12.5k free mails per month.

Thank you! So I decided to switch to Mandrill and it is really great! As we are paying now for mailchimp, we can send about 60K emails per month for free from mandrill. And set-up was really easy.

Hello,
the "only" limit is the hardware and the scheduler. You can easily send one hundred mails per hour with the right scheduler configuration.

I'm using Mandrill as well. I'll be working on creating a module that works with the mandrill API when I can find the time to do it, however just using Mandrill as your outgoing mail server for Mass Mailing works just fine for the basics.
It is better to use a platform like Mandrill for sending out mass mailing among other things for Odoo, as helps lessen the risk of being flagged in the RBL's among other things due to being improperly reported as spam.
