We have recently moved to Odoo 19 after years on Sage X3, and LOVING it so far.  One objective I am trying to overcome though, and wondering if anyone has some advice...

We have standard charge accounts, as well as standard counter sales where customers come in and pay via cash or credit card.  I have not introduced the POS app yet to the staff for counter sales.  

Our current workflow is Quote>Sale Order>Delivery>Invoice, and if they are paying with Credit Card, we are running it externally.  I have purhcased Stripe readers to take credit card payments at the counter.  I am trying to find a way to activate the stripe terminal to accept an immediate payment at the counter through the Invoice screen.

So far, not having any luck.  From what I am seeing, the only way to acheive this is through the POS app.  Is this accurate, or am I missing something?
