Manuel is the founder and CEO of SAMSA-IT GmbH - Odoo Gold Partner based in Germany. He founded SAMSA in 2013 as a SAP consulting company. 2016 he came across an Open-Source CRM+ERP+Webportal with a modular and extensible IT-Architecture named Odoo. Ever since, Manuel and his team deliver Odoo as a "speed boat" and integrate it into existing IT-landscapes.
Odoo comes with a German accounting localization. There are huge changes in accounting between V12, V13, V14, and V16. Especially, they have effects on German accounting. Not everyone is aware about the existence of new features, where to find the hidden entry points, and what parameters to configure to get them working. In the talk we discuss the following topics:
- Do I need DATEV?
- How to do the DATEV export?
- How to do the monthly VAT declaration?
- How to do the year end closing including balance sheet, profit and loss, VAT declaration, corporate tax declaration (Körperschaftsteuer, Gewerbesteuer), publication of year end closing (Bundesanzeiger)?
