Wintercircus is the representation of the tech-ecosystem that is forming more and more around Ghent. While Ghent, and Belgium in general, used to be a fly-over zone for start- and scale-ups in tech, is this changing. Ghent became over the last years one of the fastest growing tech-ecosystems in the world (#17 in 2025, higher than Paris, Dublin etc).

While Wintercircus has multiple missions and business, in the tech-ecosystem are the Collective and the Campus the most important ones. The Collective is a community with now 1300 positive-minded changemakers, growing to 2000 members. The Campus are around 40 curated start-ups, all working with AI.

Beyond its role in the tech ecosystem, Wintercircus also hosts world-class shows that blend artistry with cutting-edge technology. The goal is to recapture the "wow" factor that the circus used to have and bring people closer to the wonders of technology.

Finally, Wintercircus also has a Foundation & an Academy, serves as a private event venue, and features multiple hospitality bars and restaurants.

In this talk, Wintercircus will present how they use Odoo in their operations. Different from most of the other clients of Odoo, Wintercircus started the company with Odoo in their processes (and not converted into it later). The software of Odoo represents around 75% of the operational software of Wintercircus.
