I have set my two-part approval setting to $500. When i test the function while logged in as a manager on one browser and simple user on another, the user can buy and receive anything they want. The approval tab never shows its face. Confirmed orders never show up in the to approve filtered view.

Hi,
It works fine. Make sure that the user you logged in is user in the purchase and the amount is greater than 500. Also make sure that the amount set in the purchase settings is 500.
If the above things are done and when a purchase user creates a RFQ, it will go to , To Approve state.
Then in the Purchase manager login, he will get the button to approve this,

We actually had an internal problem we had to fix in a different mannner.
