odoo report downloading in doc/docx file

Question

I have the record for the salary certificate of customers where i added in reports directory in xml format..while going to settings icon and selectin this the pdf file of salary certificate is downloading..now i added a new button and i want the required code for downloading the report as doc file.

Hi,
To download a report in DOC format, you can refer to the module  report_py3o [1] from the Odoo Community Association (OCA). For more information, you can refer to the Python-docx [2]  documentation.
