Warehouse vs Locations question from a Rookie: How do I associate a location to a Warehouse, I notice in some instance of the current database (Odoo v8, soon to be upgraded to v15) that all the Warehouses have a "Short Name" definition and that some, but not all of the Short Names are also defined as a Location (set up with location type as "View") which is at the top of a hierarchy of one or more physical locations. However this is not consistent, some Warehouse Short Names are not set up as a Location and yet there are no traceable links to the Location associated with the Warehouse and I just can't work it out. Any recommendations on how to set it up properly please?
It also seems important as to whether a Location is Active or not and if I collapse a level by removing a branch it sometimes corrupts other entries without any explanation and it then takes a while to correct.
