I have created a simple application using Odoo Studio, but the customer (partner) is not written to records in some circumstances. There is a "related field" containing the customer (added using Odoo Studio) and I was hoping to use Automated Actions to copy from one field to another. But it needs Python code and I am not a Python programmer!
Can anyone point me to documentation on how to update one field from another field and whether there are any restrictions (such as different field types, in this case a related field and a One2Many field).

I think so, but this was one year ago and I don't have the database I was using at the time!
