We are using V14 to manage orders where the order quantities undergo constant changes right until the point of shipping. The shipping date & time is scheduled and mostly rigid

Since the lead time to pick/ pack is significant, we confirm from quotation to SO stage to create the delivery order and manage the subsequent changes in Qty on the confirmed SO.

When there is an increase to a product Qty, Odoo automatically updates the relevant qty on the delivery order. However on a decrease of qty in SO, it only creates an exception activity on the delivery order and a warning message while saving SO.

While the variations are +/- 5% of the order qty there could be 2-4 changes per order making it difficult to manually reconcile and validate prior to shipping.

Could anyone please let us know how we can change this to enable reduced qty in SO also to automatically updates the delivery order? Exactly the same way as Odoo does for an increase in SO quantity.
