Does anyone have experience with Odoo MPS in V10
we can activate MPS, see the report but have no idea how to link forecast or demand to our orders
we simply need to understand how to get info from confirmed orders into the demand of the MPS

thanks for reacting quickly, appreciated.
we have watched this video, the problem is that it shows the MSP with data in it when it opens, but we start from zero, create products, BoMs, routes, MTO or Manufacture, and then we sell but if we use MTO or Stock level, purchase requests happen etc but no data seem to go to the MSP, so we need to understand how the MSP received his data, we have not been able to find out.
maybe one of our settings are wrong
our problem is simple, we have a finished product resulting from assembly of 2 elements with lead times of multi months (1 and 3 months per element) we sell them, get the production starting but MSP is desperately empty

Ray, do you have an email we could use? Maybe you can help us and charge for your time, we really need this to work and it is becoming a disaster as we found bug after bug in the MRP and probably can not set up MSP properly - bernard.collin@safecoms.com

Just to update everyone that MPS does not gather information on sales order but requires a manual input of the customer demand forecast to compute the forecast, and stock levels. Not getting any reply, we went into the code to realise there was no place to collect any info.
We have started to create a module to collect infor from the customer order to populate above the line with inventory demand, so it is easier to create the planning
