Can contacts be merged when they are duplicated because they belong to two different work departments? For example, Juan Perez is in charge of the maintenance and purchasing department. I know I can include both departments in the same cell separated by commas, but if my import template already has them duplicated and I have many contacts like this, I want to know if Odoo can merge them while keeping both departments.

Hi,
You can merge the contacts, but Odoo will only keep one department for the contact. After the merge, you can go into the contact and manually add the other department in the Job Position field.

You could probably achieve this with export / import and then in the Excel you could set the contact to have multiple departments. After that you merge the contacts.
