When I modify the field "summary" in the manifest file, and I restart the server, the field is not getting updated. What can be the cause?

did you get solution?

ensure you are editing the module in addons path, ensure to restart service and try updating the app list

Hi,

Did you click Update App List -> Update. If not, do it and see.

Hi, when I click on "update apps list", I get the error:

UnicodeEncodeError: 'utf-8' codec can't encode character '\udcc3' in position 3: surrogates not allowed

So I try to update with command line:

./odoo-bin -d databasename -u modulename

but that didn't get changed
