How to trigger manufacturing order when confirming purchase order

Question

Dear Odoo'ers

I would like to set up a process that when I confirm a Purchase order, odoo automatically manufactures the products (so raw materials will be deducted, and ready product will be added). All BOM's are set up.

Up until now, I have tried multiple subcontracting routes, but they did work work. Also tried MTO, but that only triggers with a Sales order.

Is there somebody that could help me?

Believe you are referring to sub contracting process, where a PO initiates the process. Material/ component consumption is recorded in the receipt operation.
