I'm currently starting to develop several Odoo apps and I'm considering implementing a feature to track its usage frequency.  I've published a few free apps that are getting daily downloads, but I would like to gain better insights about how often the apps are being used, if there are any errors and if I can make any improvements on them. Before proceeding, I'd like to gather opinions on the ethical implications of this. Specifically, is it considered ethical to integrate code that reports back on how often the app is being used? Additionally, I’m interested in best practices for ensuring user consent and data privacy in this context.
