Question:
I have a manufacturing order with components defined in the BOM, and these components are linked to a specific operation (they are consumed in that operation).
My expectation is that if the required components are not available in stock, the work order should not be able to start. The work order should only be startable once the component status is available.
However, during testing, I noticed that the work order can still be started even when the component is not available.
Could someone explain how the process should be configured so that a work order cannot start unless all required components for the operation are available?
Using Odoo 19.
