Hi everyone,

When I create a new project in the Projects app, the top menu with the buttons Tasks, Sales Orders, and Invoices is not visible by default.

These buttons only appear after the project is created and I navigate inside it.

Is there a way to make this top menu appear immediately during project creation, so it is always visible from the start?

Does this require a customization, or is there a configuration option that enables this?

Hi,

In standard Odoo behavior, those buttons (Tasks, Sales Orders, Invoices) are part of the smart buttons that depend on a saved project record. That’s why they only appear after the project is created and opened.

There is no configuration option to display them during the creation stage, as the system requires the project to exist first to link related data.

If needed, this behavior can be modified through customization (UI/view adjustment), but it would require development effort.
