My computer has Shanghai time, and when I set the Shanghai time zone on Odoo, the current time is inconsistent,why?

I had a similar issue with a Project Kanban due date I added. I am in CST / Chicago time and it showed 1 day sooner. I thought it was something I did, but everything else looked correct. So I'm not sure of a solution, just reporting a similar issue with Timezone or the like.
