When you win a bid outside of Odoo, create a purchase order in the Odoo Inventory app to record the items you need to buy. Once you receive those items, Odoo automatically updates your inventory. As you repackage and sell the items, create a sales order in the Sales app. Link this sales order to the corresponding purchase order so Odoo can track the cost of the items you sold. Odoo's costing methods (like FIFO) calculate the cost of goods sold, allowing you to see your profit margin for each sale through Odoo's reporting features. These reports show your sales revenue, cost of goods, and net profit.
