I've installed Odoo 12.0 Community Edition in a Ubuntu 18.04 virtual machine (Virtualbox) and I can't find how to make a backup. I've seen many tutorials and videos but they always make the backup in other versions.

It same for all the odoo versions go to
http://localhost:8069/web/database/manager
replace localhost or port number as per you deployment
