Yes, this is a common issue in Odoo Attendance when employees check in/out through the web browser on mobile or desktop.

The reason is that most mobile browsers use network/Wi-Fi based geolocation instead of the device’s actual GPS location. Because of this, the reported location may sometimes be significantly inaccurate, even several miles away from the employee’s real position.

To address this limitation, we developed a mobile attendance solution that captures the device’s actual GPS location and stores accurate coordinates directly in Odoo during Check-In and Check-Out.
