By default i believe you cannot achieve this, as there is change in the recent odoo versions in the way how the inventory adjustment is done.

In earlier version there were a separate model to record this informations and in the newset versions we are directly updating the quants.

Yes by development you can make this possible, by bringing an extra model to hold this informations.
