Hi, 

I am using Odoo Online (SaaS v19)

I would like to add a column in my POs with a calculated field to put an interest rate for each line in the PO. This is for when we purchase things on credit with vendors.

Basically, something similar to the base field "Discount (%)" but in this case "Interest (%)".


Can I accomplish this with Odoo online?

Hi,
Yes, but only with Odoo Studio — NOT with custom Python code, because Odoo Online does not allow custom modules.

Activate Odoo Studio:

    Open any po
    Click the Studio  icon
    Choose Purchase Order Line (NOT the PO header)
    Drag Float field → Drop inside the PO Line
    Rename it to: Interest (%)
    Set widget to Percentage ( This creates a new field: x_interest_percent)

Add a computed field for total with interest

    Add a new Float field → name it Interest Amount

    Click Formula

    Set formula like: (price_unit * (x_interest_percent / 100))
