La Mesa Restaurant is a popular dining destination known for its inviting atmosphere, quality cuisine, and exceptional service. As the business grew, La Mesa recognized the need to modernize its operations and bring efficiency, transparency, and control to every part of its restaurant workflow — from table service to kitchen coordination and stock management.
To achieve this, Xsellence Bangladesh Limited implemented a fully integrated Odoo ERP system, transforming La Mesa into a digitally empowered restaurant.
The Point of Sale (POS) module was configured in restaurant mode with a customized floor and table layout, multi-session functionality for multiple waiters, and seamless kitchen integration via IoT Box for real-time order transfers to kitchen stations. Features such as bill splitting, tipping, and table transfers brought flexibility to customer service, while offline POS mode ensured uninterrupted operations even without internet.
The implementation also introduced automated accounting synchronization, enabling instant journal entries and transparent financial reporting. The Employee and Attendance modules, integrated with biometric fingerprint devices, now provide real-time check-in/out tracking and shift validation for each waiter, ensuring accountability and accuracy.
In parallel, the Inventory module was configured to manage raw materials, kitchen ingredients, and packaging items with real-time stock deduction linked to the POS. This integration gives management complete visibility into stock levels, consumption patterns, and replenishment needs, helping reduce waste and improve cost control.
With Odoo’s end-to-end system in place, La Mesa Restaurant now operates with greater coordination, faster service, and improved decision-making.
