You begin by creating the product with its main name and an "Internal Reference," which serves as the core link. For purchasing, you can specify a "Vendor Product Name" and "Vendor Product Code" on the product's Purchase tab for each supplier, ensuring that purchase orders reflect the supplier's terminology. For sales, the main product name is used by default, but you can provide a distinct "Sales Description" on the Sales tab for customer-facing documents, or even an "eCommerce description" if using Odoo's online store, ensuring all these different representations are inherently linked to the single underlying product record.
