Business Requirement:

Require to attach the files uploaded in third Party System to Odoo Invoices through API

Use Case:

Odoo Integrated with one of the Third Party System through API already. Users from third Party system needs to upload file from their system. Once uploaded, those files needs to be transferred through API and Connect Odoo's Attachment module and attach files against the Odoo'sReference Document sent along with that.

Is it any Direct Attachment API provided by Odoo using which we can connect by any third party system and upload files?

Questions:

1. Is there any existing functionality in Odoo 16 to handle this?

2. If not, what would be the recommended approach to implement this?

Any guidance on implementing this feature would be greatly appreciated. Technical implementation details or pointers to similar solutions would be helpful.
