In standard Odoo, product packaging is mainly used for sales, purchase, and logistics convenience. The actual stock quantity is still converted and stored in the product’s base Unit of Measure.

So if Product A has base UoM = kg, and you buy:

• 3 bags of 10 kg

• 6 bags of 25 kg

• 1 bag of 30 kg

• 4 bags of 50 kg

Odoo will normally show the total stock as 450 kg. It will not automatically maintain a separate stock balance by each packaging size.

If you need to know exactly how many 10 kg, 25 kg, 30 kg, and 50 kg bags are available, you have a few options:

1. Use separate product variants or separate products

   Example:

• Product A - 10 kg bag

• Product A - 25 kg bag

• Product A - 30 kg bag

• Product A - 50 kg bag

This is the clearest option if each packaging must be tracked and sold separately.

1. Use Packages / Package Types

   If you need warehouse-level package tracking, you can use Odoo packages and package types. However, this is more about physical logistics tracking, not automatically showing stock by commercial packaging in the product card.

2. Use lots/serial numbers with package information

   This can help if you want traceability by batch or packaging, but it may still require reporting/customization to show stock grouped by packaging size.

In short, Odoo standard inventory tracks the product in its base UoM. Product packaging does not behave like a separate stock dimension. If packaging stock visibility is important, the best practical approach is usually to create separate variants/products for each bag size, or use packages with custom reporting.
