I wan't to create a Knowledge Base or Wiki in Odoo v8. But more or less It's a closed book to me how to do.

I have installed the dosument, knowledge base and the blog module. And I have created some blogs as a superadmin (only this user can do so).
Then I was able to create a post in the frontend (website) with some text and a empty one (only title and subtitle) from the backend.
But this is not what I'm looking for. Could it be that there is nothing as Wiki page (collaborative editable text creation) in odoo?
Has mybe somebody a workaround for this?

And I want to edit my pages rather in the backend as in the frontent (website) and I want to keep it internal for certain cateories.

I just found out that with the modules note and note_pad together with an etherpad server you can provide what I was looking for. Etherpad http://etherpad.org is just the perfect tool to collaborative editing text in really real-time.

Odoo v8 has the forum's "how-to" where posts can be linked (via "Promote to Doc") into a unified document and with sufficent karma a user can edit the posts and therefore change the content.  It's not 100% wiki style but it might be sufficent for your needs.

Hi Stephen, What do you mean with forum how to? The guidelines (website_forum_doc) or is a there a function that I don not understand?

Now I know what you mean. But this is not exactly what I'm looking for. I did lower the needed Karma to do this, but editing posts from other users is not so nice. E.g. without to make visible what is his and what is mine in the text.

I agree it's not a perfect solution. So you need a 100% wiki solution? Or do you need to build a knowledge base where you have a few trusted editors who can correct and augment the text of another user?
