Julien studied computer science at UCLouvain and joined Odoo in 2020. He's currently working on the team in charge of the marketing apps of Odoo (i.e: CRM, Event, Survey, etc). He's mainly contributing to the development of the Knowledge module. He is passionate about science and technology. Writing code is not the only thing that keeps him awake at night. He also loves doing sports and trying new things for fun.
In Odoo 18, the Knowledge app got new super powers: it now integrates a search engine!
This talk will demonstrate how we implemented this feature using PostgreSQL. It will present the challenges we encountered and how we cleverly solved them.
