Dahabshiil Group Consolidation

KORYX implemented Odoo as the central consolidation platform for Dahabshiil Group, addressing one of the most technically demanding aspects of managing a large, diversified conglomerate: bringing together financial data from subsidiaries that each operate on different accounting systems, including Oracle, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, and Odoo, into a single, coherent group reporting environment.

Financial data from entities across the banking, remittance, mobile money, manufacturing, hospitality, and services sectors flows into the group Odoo instance, where it is reconciled, mapped to a unified chart of accounts, and consolidated to produce accurate group-level financial statements. Intercompany eliminations and reconciliation processes are handled systematically within the platform, ensuring that consolidated positions reflect the group’s true financial performance and standing rather than the sum of individual entities' reports.

Automated consolidated financial reporting covers group income, balance sheet positions, and cash flow, giving senior leadership and the board timely and reliable information for strategic decision-making. Custom KPI dashboards are developed for senior management, presenting key performance indicators across business units, including revenue, profitability, liquidity, and operational metrics, in a format designed for executive visibility rather than transactional detail. Standard Odoo modules support the holding company's own daily operations covering procurement, HR, payroll, travel, documents, and investment property management, making Odoo both the consolidation engine and the operational backbone of the group's corporate office.
