Has anyone integrated Paychex or ADP Payroll services with Odoo? This would be very helpful for managing the entire HR process.

Odoo doesn't do payroll. Integrating a payroll platform like Paychex or ADP with Odoo is not a good idea because it would be expensive for very little value. The reason is because payroll is essentially 3 operations:
1) making sure that the data source is correct,
2) calculating earnings (eg. commissions based on sale, pay based on timesheets,...),
3) entering the final earnings in the payroll platform.
An integration would make operations 2 and 3 faster but it is operation 1 that typically takes more than 90% of the total time of running a payroll. So an integration would not focus on creating value (ie. saving time) on the right things. Regarding operation 1, just using Odoo without an integration to a payroll platform is what creates the most value in this process.
In brief, the majority of the pain related to payroll is having correct data source and an integration doesn't solve that; just using Odoo (without integration) does.
What is a payroll solution to use with Odoo? How would payroll get imported into the accounting module? there is value in having the ability to handle payroll within the system especially when dealing with commissions or pay based on timesheet.
Entering the payroll info in Odoo after the payroll is done corresponds to 1 journal entry per month. There is no point in spending thousands of dollars in integration to save the "struggle" of creating 1 journal entry per month. Your company will not be more efficient due to the fact that your accountant saved 10 minutes over a 1 month period.
Regarding the commission question, each company has their own rules and calculations when it comes to commissions. It's impossible to create a generic Odoo module that would cover every possible calculation, especially considering how creative certain companies can get in that aspect.
