Thank you for your answer. For step 6 I only have the option for Paypal button or custom image. No alternative payment method.

I will check again later today if I have to activate the alternative payment methods somewhere.

Yes, it is possible to accept Bancontact payments through PayPal in Odoo V12. Here are the steps:

1. Sign up for a PayPal Business account and connect it to your Odoo website.

2. In your PayPal account, go to the "Tools" section and click on "PayPal buttons".

3. Click on "Create new button" and select "Buy Now" button type.

4. Fill in the details of your product, including the price and any other necessary information.

5. Under the "Customize button" section, click on "Customize text or appearance".

6. Scroll down to the "Choose button type and enter payment details" section and select "Alternative payment methods".

7. Select "Bancontact" from the list of alternative payment methods.

8. Save the button and copy the generated HTML code.

9. In Odoo, create a new product or edit an existing one.

10. Go to the "e-Commerce" tab and select "Website".

11. Paste the PayPal button HTML code into the "Product Description" field.

12. Save the changes to the product.

Customers will now be able to pay for the product using Bancontact without having to create a PayPal account. They will simply need to select Bancontact as their payment method when checking out.
