Odoo’s flexibility and rich features make it a great platform for integrated HR, finance and operational workflows. By connecting HR functions to time tracking and financial systems, Odoo Payroll helps businesses cut costs and enhance operational efficiency, especially those having project-based or hourly-based payroll. No data entry or integration with 3rd-party payroll solutions is needed and payroll-related information, such as employee information, employment information, commission information, and especially timesheet information, is seamlessly accessible from the Payroll app.

The system provides payroll tax calculations for the US and Canada, including multi-state taxation and reciprocity, as well as advanced payroll features, such as payroll automation, deduction management, project-based payment, etc.

In this talk, which is geared towards users and managers of financial and HR functions, especially in manufacturing and service companies, we will present how Odoo can be expanded to create an integrated payroll solution. We will also present a real-world case study about Inline Cleaning Systems (ICS), a US-based manufacturing company, who utilized Novobi’s Odoo Payroll in their all-in-one Engineer-to-Order (ETO) system.
