Kuwait Credit Information Network Company (CINET)
Kuwait Credit Information Network Company (CINET) stands as Kuwait’s sole licensed credit bureau, established in 2001 under the supervision of the Central Bank of Kuwait. As a closed Kuwaiti shareholding company, CINET specializes in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating credit information for individuals and corporations. The company plays a pivotal role in enhancing financial transparency and credit literacy across Kuwait, offering services such as credit reporting, credit scoring, and risk assessment tools. CINET’s commitment to innovation is evident in its recent launch of a revamped mobile application, providing users with real-time access to their credit profiles and scores, thereby empowering them to make informed financial decisions.
Kuwait Protocol Company partnered with CINET to implement a comprehensive Odoo ERP system, version 17 Enterprise edition, tailored to meet the organization’s complex operational requirements. Our engagement encompassed a thorough system study, meticulous installation, and a structured implementation process, culminating in extensive training sessions and formal project sign-off. Key modules integrated included Accounting—with functionalities for Payables Management, Receivables Management, Fixed Assets Management, Financial Reporting, and User Dashboards. A significant aspect of the project was the seamless integration of the ERP system with CINET’s existing platforms, including the Silver Blade, E-Portal, and HRMS systems, ensuring unified data flow and operational coherence. Furthermore, we executed a critical data migration, transferring a minimum of five years’ worth of historical data from the legacy Great Plains System (MS SQL 2019) to the new Oracle and SQL-based databases. This strategic implementation has fortified CINET’s operational infrastructure, enabling enhanced financial management and supporting its mission to foster a robust credit culture in Kuwait.
