Hello everyone,

I’m looking to customize my Odoo eCommerce product page to get a layout similar to this example:

penguin. swiss (Men Pinneco Insulation Jacket with hood)

My goal is to:

keep a single product template,

automatically inject product data (descriptions, specifications, labels),

display an accordion-style FAQ section driven by fields (not hardcoded text).

Important constraint: I have 1,800+ product pages.

Technical context: Odoo v19 Online

Hello,
Please confirm your requirement:
1. You want single master product template page
2. when user select any product auto fill product data(no manual)
3. You want the FAQ section to behave like a list attached to the product record.
-> Since you are on the Online/SaaS version, do you already have Odoo Studio installed to create these custom fields?

Thanks both, this matches my requirement.

To confirm:
1) I need one master product page template for all products.
2) Product data must be auto-filled (no manual page editing).
3) FAQ should be dynamic and linked to each product record.

I am on Odoo v19 Online (SaaS) and I have Odoo Studio.

My key question is:
Can this be achieved fully on Odoo Online with Studio + Website Builder only, or do I need Odoo.sh / On-Prem to implement QWeb inheritance and a dynamic One2many FAQ accordion at scale (1,800+ products)?

Dear  Epicerie,

No direct QWeb template editing — Studio allows field injection and form/page customization, but deep HTML/QWeb overrides are limited.

Complex layouts (accordion, tabs) may require a custom module, which is not possible on Odoo Online unless published via Odoo Apps.

Performance: With 1,800+ products, avoid storing FAQs as plain text fields. Use relational models so content is structured and reusable.

So best approach would be go with custom module creation workflow and that will not support on online version.

Hi Epicerie,

This is definitely achievable in Odoo v19. Here's the quick overview:

For a single product template that works across all 1,800+ products, use QWeb template inheritance through a custom module, avoid the drag-and-drop builder as it creates page-specific overrides that won't scale.

For dynamic data injection, leverage product attributes for specs, the eCommerce description fields for content, and custom fields (x_ fields) on product.template for anything extra. Reference them directly in your QWeb template.

For the accordion FAQ, create a One2many field on the product template with question/answer pairs, then loop through them in your template using t-foreach inside a Bootstrap accordion. Fully dynamic, zero hardcoding.

One important note, since you're on Odoo v19 Online, you're limited in how much frontend customisation you can do. Studio can handle the custom fields, but for the QWeb-level template changes you're describing, you'd likely need Odoo.sh or On-Premise.
