Hi,

I removed the invoice configuration panel. There are some options I want to change (the invoice footer,...). and I wanted to do it via the panel. What is the best way to make it reappear?

Panel in question is the one you have at first install of the invoice module (Company Data -> Layout Data -> Payment Method ->Sample Invoice)

I tried this with Odoo v12 Enterprise but it doesn't seem to work. I can get the selection list to appear but no matter which one I select it doesn't bring back the configuration panel.

Activate developer mode. Go to Settings->General settings and you will find: Change document tempalte and Edit layout.
